iPhone 5 Repairs at Repair Sharks

The iPhone 5 has been cracking just like its predecessor the 4 and 4s. Currently iPhone 5 screen repair prices haven't been very competitive. There has been high constraint on the parts keeping the costs high on front glass and LCD replacements. We have seen a slight drop in prices on the Digitizer and LCD assembly but still not enough to make it worthwhile for many customers.

If the current market mimicks the former depreciating cost of the iPhone 4 and 4S screens we should start to see declining prices on this new screen. Manufacturing of this new screen is ramping up and more iPhone 5's are becoming available on the market creating more influx of available parts. Hopefully we will see the screen prices drop to the $125-150 range over the next 4-5 months. This also poses another issue in that the iPhone 5s is also on the table for release in the next 6-8 months. Apple has done it once again as news has been published of prototype 5s models. Given Apple's track record we think this is a sure bet as a follow up to the 5. The only problem is that Apple has always had a tendency to make minor changes to their screens with each new model making it difficult for repair centers to keep up with their ever changing lineup of devices. We can probably expect the 5S to have a different bend in the cable or a notch on the connector just to make everyone's life more difficult.

If you need help with a cracked iPhone 5 the Repair Sharks are here for you. We can always replace screens on anything not covered by a warranty. We are keeping limited stock on these screens currently in order to keep our pricing very close the the current market. Give us a call if you need assistance.
